Welcome to Living Proof Lactation ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this website or scheduling services with Living Proof Lactation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
 

1. Services

Living Proof Lactation provides lactation education, breastfeeding support, infant feeding guidance, and related services through virtual consultations and in-home visits within our service area in Louisiana.

Services are intended to support families during the breastfeeding and infant feeding journey and are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment by a physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
 

2. Eligibility

By using our website or scheduling services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or are acting on behalf of a minor child for whom you have legal authority to make healthcare decisions.
 

3. Appointments and Online Booking

Appointments may be scheduled through our online booking platform.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when scheduling services. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule appointments when necessary.
 

4. Fees and Payment

Living Proof Lactation is currently a self-pay practice.

Payment is due as outlined at the time of booking or service. Fees are subject to change without notice.

Any reimbursement from insurance providers, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, or other third parties is the sole responsibility of the client.
 

5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise requiring appointment changes.

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will not incur a cancellation fee.

• Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.

• Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may result in a charge of up to 100% of the scheduled service fee.

• We reserve the right to require payment of outstanding fees before scheduling future appointments.
   

6. Home Visit Services

Clients receiving in-home services agree to provide a safe environment for the consultation.

We reserve the right to terminate or reschedule a visit if conditions are unsafe, including but not limited to aggressive behavior, threats, hazardous conditions, or situations that place the consultant at risk.
 

7. Virtual Consultations

Virtual consultations require a stable internet connection and a compatible device.

While we strive to provide uninterrupted services, we cannot guarantee the availability, quality, or security of internet-based communications. Technical difficulties may occasionally occur.

In the event of a technology failure, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the appointment.
 

8. Medical Disclaimer

Information provided through this website, educational materials, consultations, emails, text messages, or other communications is for educational and supportive purposes only.

Living Proof Lactation does not provide emergency medical services.

If you or your infant are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.

You should consult your physician, pediatrician, or other qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns.
 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Living Proof Lactation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to services provided shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
 

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, educational materials, forms, and images, is the property of Living Proof Lactation and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
 

11. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
